Where: Pairi Daiza Brugelettes, Belgium

This is a species of Bird I hoped to see for a very long time, but they're quite rare. And admittedly, quite a lot smaller than I thought they'd be! Of course, could be it's the smaller male, but I was thinking along the size of a Golden Eagle and it was more the size of a Falcon if I had to compare based on memory.

Species: Long-Crested Eagle (Afrikaanse zwarte kuifarend)

Latin name: Lophaetus Occipitalis

Originates from Africa.

Current status: Least Concern
