Description
Photo taken in November, 2013 @ Natura Artis Magistra, Royal Amsterdam Zoo, The NetherlandsThe Hudson Bay Wolves aren't often moving and showing some action. Except, apparently, when a Magpie drops a bit of squeaky foam in their enclosure. They were enraptured with that
Not at all times, though. And taking bits off the disgustingly, cringe-worthy stuff wasn't as tasty as they'd willed it to be. Shaking it off seems like a great solution
Species: Hudson Bay Wolf
Latin name: Canis Lupus Hudsonicus
Originates from Hudson Bay.
Current status: Not evaluated, but considered Endangered
Did you know:
…The Hudson Bay Wolf is often called Tundra Wolf, which is an entirely different subspecies of the Gray Wolf, while they in fact similar to the Mackenzie Valley Wolf, only smaller.
…They have been hunted in the 19th and 20th century for their pelts.
…Their fur ranges from a light gray to a yellowish-white or cream color, but the fur lightens in the Winter.

Haha, no, it's white compressed solid bubbles used to protect televisions and such in a box. (Squeaky foam really was the translation I got. If you'd search Google Images for "piepschuim" you might be able to find it )

Okay.... I really thought that was some weird euphemism for shit
(because of my association to birds and dropping things...)
