They are the first animal I visit at the zoo. I love watching them, swim, play, or act goofy.
They know they are being watched and they ham it up for the audience.
During the shutdown, the zoo set up a Webcam showing the pool. The seals were active during feeding. But as soon as the keepers left, they calmed down and sat on their rocks. They knew something was wrong. They thrive on us visiting them.
