Our list of animals to photograph started with the two species in this terrarium. They did not make it easy 
Species: Mozambique Girdled Lizard
Latin name: Smaug Mossambicus syn. Cordylus Gorongosa
Originates from Mount Morongosa and Chimanimani Mountains in Mozambique.
Current status: Least Concern
Did you know:
…It is at times also called the Gorongosa Girdled Lizard.
…Not much is actually known about them, although they are popular in the (illegal) pet trade.
