Cheetahs - and especially this little cubbie - often lend themselves perfectly for a Black&White shot. It makes the spots and the pensive look stand out even more.
It seems very fitting considering their species is still endangered.

Latin name: Acinonyx Jubatus

Originates from Africa and the Middle East.

Current status: Vulnerable

…The Cheetah can clock in to 112 to 120 km/h (70 to 75 mph), making it the fasted land animal on the planet, covering 500 meters (1,600 ft) in short burst, and being able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds.

…It is one of the few Felids with semi-retractable claws.
