The octopus looks exceptional, and I love the tail on the mermaid. Something about her seems off though. Too masculine... Perhaps the angularity of the facial features or the proportioning of the chest/neck? Overalll good piece!

And after that show of affection towards tentacles overall, I have to say you drew thwm perfectly here.
Also I love the mermaid's tail, it's so detailed.
Her hair is lovely, it really seems like she's floating, which gives a pro in the image, since it's like they are indeed in the sea and you see them whilst skydiving
Overall, I love the colors you chose for this piece, all the shading and the lighting and the tentacles

Normally I associate something more innocent with mermaids, but I suppose that's just Disney's idea. This mermaid seems more like a dangerous temptress, especially when coupled with the menacing octopus in the background.
