Generally this is great, but i think the softer elements let it down. If the whole thing was as sharp as the red part it would be great.
i can understand the time put into it though, i have started (but not finished) something like this also...

general skills are very nice. Structurally the central red line art is the only thing that holds it together. Maybe theres somewhere u can progress?
