Description
Two Sulphur Crested Cockatoos. These two have been together for quite a while since ive been here, and im pretty sure they were together beforehand aswell. Cockatoos from what I know generally mate for life, so these two beautiful birds will haunt the tree across the street from my house for years to come. Hope you enjoy this photo, it was sheer luck that I managed to walk out just at the right time.Related content

They are so beautiful like this, as an happy couple in the wild, instead of being alone in a cage...

Necking cockatoos...
Such a cute photo! So lucky to live where you could see these birds in the wild and just down the street.

Yeah its got a bit of annoying noise which I didnt want to reduce (due to the fact the more i reduce the noise the more blurred it becomes) So I had to make do with it like this...

I have a soft spot for these little guys, as I own a baby Ducorps. Right now she's in time out, but all the same. ;>
You say these two are wild? How cool!

Indeed they are wild, they roam an area of about 10 square kilometers (from what I know), but I believe their nest hollow is in that there tree.

Thankyou. I enjoy taking photos of these birds, and have wanted one for quite a while myself. Very very intelligent, will learn to speak before you know it and wont stop.
