Description

Every year things change. The leaves turn from green, to gold, to red, and eventually fall. The flowers retreat and mushrooms appear. From the last breaths of summer new life abounds. We cannot stop change, it comes for us all, but we can admire the beauty in it.
This yokai embodies the spirit of autumn. Sometimes it may seem like they are not all there, as their form is constantly shifting and changing. The mushrooms and moss grow, die, and grow again. Their body dissolves into fog or smoke, which obscures their movements. You are often left guessing where they came from or where they went to, but you will always know when they are nearby from the jingle of their yuzu bell.

Comes with transparent background version, and painted background art. I also included a version with a plain background for viewing the design better.

It's been so relaxing to be able to embrace the spirit of Autumn and make a design I really enjoy! It's been too long since I've made (a non-elnin) adoptable. I thought a lot about what autumn meant to me, and I really love the foggy mornings, which this one reminded me of. ♥ Also since I live in a hot climate I like the cool colors, can't wait for that fall chill to set in xD
