Me too actually! I am glad I'm not the only one sick and tired of this! I don't really know what it is with these tropes, they are weird more than anything else, and that's saying something considering that we're talking about anime here! Sometimes I honestly believe that this genre of entertainment was specifically made to show weird sh**! But I digress, I'd get If the the only ones doing this were ecchi shows! But there are many shows that take themselves super seriously and still end up pulling this crap! No! Just no, make me a show even If it is a silly one where the main characters isn't a damn school...something. Guess I'll just watch a comic book movie or something!

I guess they try to make us feel that we relate to the main character since most people who watch it are teens (who they are in school too mostly) I don't see it as wierd tho, but it feels like they lake new (or different) ideas lately

Don't get me wrong, I generally do not think there is anything wrong with this anime! But I just had enough of school themed animes! Although this sorta approaches the whole thing in very different way, it is still centered around school! It's like in the anime world these days the main characters are either school boys or girls! I mean do they all die after they graduate, what the hell! It's just copy pasted to death at this point! Like where the hell is my Berserk, Fist of the North Star, hell DB fu**ing Z...! Even something like Outlaw Star where you practically have a child as one of the main characters works, just don't let the word school anywhere near it for once...god damn it! I don't know what hell is wrong with the industry recently, it's almost creepy at this point! Seriously WTF Japan?!?
