FF13-2 was confirmed so I figured it'd be good to draw her in the new getup. Full body is on the way.Anyway I'm really hoping she doesn't get screwed up like samus is on her way to. The thighs and feathers and the fact that she looks like Vanille in the close-up isn't too convincing, but we'll see what happens, I'll still get the game.
Maybe we'll be meeting "Claire" rather than Lightning, who knows.
Either way, I tried to keep the feeling of strength in her with this drawing.

Her name is lightning, she's from a game called final fantasy 13

This is just drawn with a pen, but I do draw with a tablet sometimes too. It works perfect with 4gb Ram, but even then there isnt much to worry about

Samus isn't beyond repair though, people seem to forget that Fusion is still the current canon version of her character.
Anyway I'm not seeing the Vanille comparison seems like all Square did was touch up on Light's looks, something that happens a lot in sequels that use the same character(s).
In any case I love this image, not only is her armor well done but her expression is really intense and befitting of her personality.

There's a scene in the trailer where she looks up, and she looks reallllllly young and looks almost like she has lipstick on. If we're talking a prequel here then I guess it would make more sense but I was under the impression it was a sequel. Either way I don't mind too much, I just hope the game is good for the right reasons haha.
As for the metroid series I'm very interested as to what comes next, and what they do with samus and the game style.
