Still practicing with the tablet, it's pretty difficult but I'm making progress.
I tried to keep it slow and clean, but my hand isn't too steady with the tablet just yet.

Love the pose, but the hair looks funny. For the final product I'd raise the spikes a bit and take away some of the bangs. Overall I'm excited for this one though, Trunks is in my top 3 list of best Dragonball Characters.

It's hard to get used to the tablet isn't it? I can't wait for the moment that I draw as naturally with the tablet as with a normal pencil, I'm sure having a large enough tablet helps as well.

I've never really drawn a comic before and probably won't have the time.
What's the story about?

My story is based on Dragon Ball. But it is an alternative world with a scenario like Squarenix.Les main characters is called Kakarotto Goku, Broly, Vegeta etc ... This story has several parts, the first taking place on the planet Vegeta that explains that Broly is a genetically created soldier and that's why he can transform.
If you want to know more precisely I'll put a message in the beginning of my story.

He's right part of the SSJ hair need work - there too short, should be longer. His legs are short which make's him a bit fat.
The pose and original design are cool interesting but I'd suggest to fix some proportion mistakes mentioned above.

Yeah I know it has a few problems, like I said it's just a practice, the tablet is pretty hard to get used to. Once I start getting good at drawing without looking, these practices should start improving, hopefully
Anyway thanks for the heads up, if I decide to make this into a fully coloured piece later on, I'll keep those in mind

This is a tablet drawing, drawn straight onto the computer.
The most of the other sketches are just HB greylead pencils. And I use a typical scanner to scan, nothing special

awesome as usual, but the hair is a little inaccurate (by which i mean you should added a bit more of a curved wave to each spike [link] [link] [link] , rather than just a right angle and curling it up a bit towards the end as you've done) and i also think it would be cooler if you switched from this pose to the burning slash pose [link] .
but either ways this is an amazing piece, just got to sort the hair and then it will be perfect

lol thanks, I won't change the pose that'll make it an entirely different drawing, and I think the burning slash thing has been done heaps before anyway.

Well, my mom told me she'd buy the tablet for me but then she says she's not doing it, my sister and cousin are so instead of the intuos4 like I planned I'll be using the genius again for a while. I've got the money for the intuos but I'm still not too sure if I should take the step...

yeah it's a tough decision, it was definitely worth it for me because I didnt have a tablet previously. I recommend it, but it might be different in your situation, Im not sure
