I have to admit that at first I wasn't fan of the design of these dragons. It seemed like they really wanted to emphasize that there were "evil" and "edgy" dragons, but after a while I became fond of them, especially to their goofy looking faces. :3For this drawing I took some time to study their body shape and used a reference for the pose, and I'm mostly happy for the results, the only thing I didn't like was the shape of the skull. I think I made it too thick.

I ain't gonna lie, it's funny how HTTYD movie pride themselves in keeping dragons actual realistic animals and not magical sentient creatures... while demonizing normal animal behaviour in Deathgrippers

I love that they are pointy and actually evil looking but also have the adorable buggy eyes and big smiles.
