Hello and Merry CRITmas! Are you ready for a visit from the little Critique Fairy?

Nothing like a disembodied eyeball to instill dread in some poor mortals! Oh, is that a comet in the background, like a mystic herald of some kind of world-changing event? That does not bode well, combined with Cthulhu...!

I like your monstrous eye very much, you even remembered to add subtle texturing to it, that's very nice - but there is something about it that's not sitting right with me, and that's it's looking rather dry. Normally, with a strong distinct light source like that full moon, you'd have a small but hard highlight of that colour from where its light reflects on such a glossy surface as a wet eyeball. It's a good rule of thumb to keep in mind: shiny surface = highlights are small & hard-edged; matte surface = highlights are large & fuzzy. That's because a matte surface can't reflect its surrounding light as precisely and it just bounces this way and that. A perfectly reflective surface like a mirror will reflect a bundle of light coming at it from its surroundings back unchanged.

This trick will allow you to give all your icky slimy things so much more panache and impact; really worth trying out I'd say!
