There's no "maybe" about it, it's definitely "inspired" by Leonid Afremov. And by inspired I mean mimicked. I try to follow his knife strokes. Of course, in time, something of my own will come through, but in the mean while, I have to learn how to control the paint on the knife, the values, and the mood. It's going to be a lot of work.

But that's part of the learning process, trying new things based on superb artists, failing frequently, but with each iteration, creating your own voice and style.
