I walked down the aisles of the department store on my new paws. Granted, more than a few people stared at me, but it wasn't like I wasn't used to it. Coming up on an employee, I see him pulling out a beautiful dress. Black, with red and light cream highlights, I simply had to have it! "Excuse me sir, can I please buy that?"

The employee didn't even look up as he muttered. "Sorry lady, this is for display purposes only. Not for sale to the public."

Taken aback by that, I tapped him on the shoulder with perhaps a bit too much force. "Oh come on! Just let me buy the dress! I'm sure you can get another one."

This time, he turned to face me. "Nope. It's a one of a kind dress. Rumor has it, the dress came from Madame Taussauds after they retired one of their models. You aren't allowed to wear it. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for my break."

He walked away, leaving the dress laying on a folding table. With a sly grin I picked it up and headed to the changing room. The fabric felt so soft and silky I quickly sheeded my clothes and began assembling the outfit. The fit was nearly perfect. The only part that didn't seem quite right was around the stomach. It seemed like there was some extra fabric in that area. Still I figured I could just get it tailored a little later on. The last part of the outfit included a headpiece. Putting it on, I took a look at myself in the mirror, super excited about my one of a kind find. I went to reach for the door but found it becoming more difficult to move. Catching my reflection in the mirror again I gasped. My skin was becoming shiny! I went to try and take the outfit off but felt a burning feeling in my belly and it began to distend outward. I could feel little kicks immediately. "Pregnant? No no no! I need to get thiff offph."

My mouth was not forming words as easily and in a last ditch effort, I leaned forward trying to open the door but only succeeded in falling sideways against the wall. I heard a knock at the door, then, the male employee opened it. "I told you it was for display purposes only! Well, great, I don't think they wanted claws and paws. I could just take off the headband and you would go back to animate buuuuut, maybe the management will like the exotic nature of a monster girl! Now, let's get you situated."

I was screaming inside, hoping the headpiece would fall off but of course, I had weaved it into my hair so it wasn't going to go anywhere without someone pulling on it. He moved my arms and legs, even turned my head so that I would show off the dress, my belly, and my face. All I could hope was that someone who knew me would walk by and maybe, try to free me.
