What a rare shot! Giraffes rarely bend down like this because the are easy prey when they do.

The above comment is only partially true. ^ They have to look up every few moments to make sure that that doesn't happen, but they can't purposely cut off their own circulation. o_O
Anyway, I love this shot. Wonderful job.

Did you know that a giraffe cuts off the circulation to it's brain when it bends over to drink so the blood wont rush to it's head and it won't die?
