"I don't want to think about Cobra any more, can we sssee JAIC again?" asked Suki.
"Of course." They went to Jason's HQ, "JAIC! JAIC!? Where's he gone?" Jason looked confused.
"You mean you don't know where he isss?" Nabujo asked.
"No. With a normal car, you can find it because it it's where you left it, but an AI car goes off and does his own thing. He's probably rescuing someone or flirting with another car."
Suki laughed, "Well, can't you call him or sssomething?" he asked.
"Ah ha. Yes, I can." Jason turned on his comlink, "JAIC? Do you read me, JAIC?"
"I am reading you loud and clear, Jason," JAIC answered on the comlink.
"Do you think you can get your ass down here? Suki wants to see you again."
"Jason, you know that I do not have an ass."
"You know what I mean," Jason snapped.
"On my way, Jason. ETA is 5 minutes."
"Thank you," Jason turned off the comlink, "There you go."
"Awesssome! And it wasss that easssy?" asked Suki.
"Yep."
5 minutes later, JAIC arrived.
"Hello again, Suki," said JAIC.
"Hi, JAIC! Nicsse to sssee you again!"
"I cannot say the same thing, as I do not have emotions, but it is logical to see you again, Suki."
"Errr. OK. So, We've ssseen your 4x4 mode, what elssse can you transssform into?"
"Well Suki, there is Maximum Speed Mode, in which I am a jet powered super car; Police Mode, where I am a Dodge Charger Patrol car and a number of disguises, including a 1994 Dodge Viper RT-10, a 1967 Dodge Charger R/T, and a 2008 Dodge Challenger."
"Wow. That'sss a lot of Dodgesss."
That day Jason, JAIC, Suki and Nabujo had fun together. Later that afternoon, Jason and JAIC recollected the day's events.
"Have I ever told you how much I like you, JAIC?"
"No, Jason, you have not."
"That's a shame. I consider you to be more than just a super computer on wheels. You are my partner, and my friend."
"Thank you, Jason. I appreciate your compliments. I think that you like Suki and Nabujo. Am I correct?"
"You are correct, JAIC," Jason grinned, "Right, I'm going back to the lab. See if I can find another way to tame Cobra."
"Normally I would convince you not to do that, but since you are not going to listen to me, I will not say anything about it."
"Good." Jason went back to the lab. When he got there, he saw Suki and Nabujo waiting for him.
"Oh, hello, you two. What can I do you for?"
"We want to help you tame Cobra," said Suki.
"Oh no. You know what happened last time."
"We know the risssksss, Jassson, and we're gonna roll with the punches."
"OK, but don't sssay I didn't warn you," said Jason.
"Did you jussst ssspeak with a lisssp?" asked Nabujo.
"I think I did. That can't be good."
"Isss Cobra coming back?" asked Suki.
"I hope not."
"I've got an idea! How about I hug you when you transssform?" suggested Suki.
"That's an unusual idea. Hey, I didn't speak with a lisp!"
"Yay! Or isss it that Cobra isss play with your mind?"
"I hope not. Cobra developing the ability to play with my mind? That'sss sssomething I don't want to think about. Uh oh. The lisssp'sss come back."
"Oh, no!" Suki slithered up to Jason and wrapped his arms (and tail) around Jason.
"That'sss a bit tight, Sssuki." By this point Jason's voice was completely serpentine, yet his body was still completely human, "That'sss ssstange. Why have I not ssstarted to transssform yet?"
"I definitely think he'sss playing with you!" said Suki.
"Oh, for God'sss sssake. WILL YOU SSSTOP THISSS JOKING AROUND, COBRA!?" shouted Jason.
"Yeah, Cobra! You should ssstop being ssso angry all the time, you filthy worm!" The instant Suki said that, he wondered if he should've kept his mouth shut. Jason closed his eyes in pain.
"AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH! I think he heard thaAAAARRRGGHHH! THISSS ISSS THE WORST PAIN EVER!"
"Cobra, ssstop it, you're hurting him! Look, if you're angry becaussse I called you a filthy worm, blame me, and not Jassson here!!!" Suki demanded.
Jason finally transformed into Cobra. He hissed angrily at Suki.
"YOU'LL BE SSSORRY YOU CALLED ME A WORM, SSSUKI!" he said. Suki was terrified and fell to the ground.
"I... I already am! Pleassse... You wouldn't do anything to a fellow reptile, would you?"
Cobra picked Suki up with his tail and lifted him up to his eye level.
"WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU, YOU'LL WISH YOU NEVER MET JASSSON!" He threw Suki, who flew 50 feet through the air and landed heavily on the ground. Cobra started to chase after him, but felt a small weight on his tail. It was Nabujo. Cobra looked round and lifted his tail, leaving Nabujo hanging from the tip of it.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, WORM?" Cobra said.
"I'm not a worm, I am a naga, and I will NOT let you harm Suki." He hauled himself up on top of Cobra's tail and jumped onto his head. Cobra thrashed around. Eventually he threw Nabujo off and turned his attentions back onto Suki. Before he could do anything though, he stopped. He looked confused. Then he spoke with Jason's voice: "No. I let you harm Sssuki once, I will not let you do it again." Then he spoke with Cobra's voice: "BUT HE CALLED ME A WORM!"
"And that's your exsscussse? You need to ssstop and think about your actionsss."
Cobra looked confused: "GAAAAAHHH! CAN'T THINK. TOO CONFUSSSED!" Cobra collapsed unconscious on the floor with a thud.
"Jassson! Cobra! Whoever you are! Are you OK!?" Suki shouted, still lying in the same place where he was when Cobra threw him.
"Firssst thingsss firssst: Are YOU okay?" asked Nabujo.
"I'm a bit sssore, but I'll live. I'm more concsserned about Jassson." Nabujo slithered over to Jason/Cobra, slowly followed by Suki.
"Jassson? Cobra?" Nabujo hit Cobra on the top of his head, "Can you hear me!?"
Jason/Cobra didn't move or speak.
"JASSSON!" Suki slapped Jason/Cobra in the face. Jason/Cobra still didn't move, "Isss he...?" Suki couldn't finish the question. Nabujo felt Jason/Cobra's front.
"No. I can feel a heartbeat."
"Thank God for that," Suki was relieved, "What do you think happened?"
"I can only asssume it wasss the battle of the mindsss. I'm not sssure who won."
They talked for hours. Suddenly, Cobra started changing. He shrank in size, grew arms and legs, and his scales became skin. Eventually, Cobra was gone, and Jason had taken his place.
"Jassson?" Suki poked him in the eye.
"Ow. Suki, that was my eye," Jason said.
"Jassson! Thank God you're awake! What happened to Cobra?"
Jason opened his eyes and struggled to lift himself up, "I don't know. Normally I black out when I transform, but last night I didn't. It was like I was watching a film. I could see what was going on, but couldn't do anything about it. Then when he threatened you I wanted to shout at him, hoping that he would listen. I was amazed when he did. Maybe this is a new dawn for Cobra and I. Then again, maybe not. We'll have to wait until tonight."
Suki hugged Jason, "Thanksss for sssaving me, Jassson. If you hadn't shouted, I would've been ssseriousssly beaten up, or worssse."
"Don't forget about me. I dessstracted Cobra long enough for Jassson to ssstop him," Nabujo pointed out.
"Of courssse you did," Suki said, as he hugged Nabujo as well.
"OK," said Jason, as he struggled to lift himself up, "Let's cut the sentimental crap, otherwise I might be sick. We need to do something about Cobra."
"I have an idea, jussst make one thing clear: You ARE Jassson, and not Cobra, aren't you?" asked Suki.
"If I was Cobra, I would probably have you against the wall at this point."
"Oh, good point. Well, my idea isss to dissstract him with sssome food, and then capture him by injecting him with sssomething."
"Something to eat. Well, I know a regular king cobra mainly eats snakes, but they also eat birds, fish, frogs, toads, lizards, eggs, chicks, rabbits, rats, and other small mammals. So, we've got plenty of choice."
Suki and Nabujo flinched at the word 'snakes'. "Well, he hasssn't used usss asss dinner yet, so I guesss we should give him a heap of meat or sssomething..." said Nabujo.
"I knew you wouldn't like the fact that they eat snakes. Hmmm. If a normal king cobra eats small mammals, then Cobra would probably want to eat a LARGE mammal, like a cow, or something."
"Hmm, yeah, a cow! There are plenty of thossse in the fieldsss around here... we should get one!" Suki said, excitedly.
"Right!" Jason got up, and instantly fell over, "Damn it, I really need to be careful in the morning after I transform back. Having no legs all night means my legs are weak, and I need to get used to them again in the morning," He got up again, slowly this time, and waited until his legs stopped shaking, "Right, time to start up JAIC."
"OK, you get the cow, and Nabujo and I will ssset up a place for it."
"Right!" Jason walked in the direction of JAIC's bedroom, and fell over again, "BLOODY HELL! JAIC, can you come here, please? I'm struggling to walk at the moment."
"On my way, Jason." JAIC said through the comlink.
"I really have to do something about Cobra."
"Here, let me help you!" Suki slithered over to Jason and helped him get back up. "Cobra isss getting annoying, and almossst deadly, that filthy w.... I better not say that."
"Thanks. I have no idea what you were gonna say, but for both our sakes I don't want to know." JAIC arrived. "JAIC, Suki's got a plan to distract Cobra. We're gonna sacrifice a cow."
"In other words, you are going to give Cobra the cow as food to distract him." said JAIC.
"Exactly," Jason got into the car, "Let's go," They drove away.
"Sssee ya in a while, Jassson!" Suki waved at JAIC, then went to start setting up a place for the cow.
Meanwhile, Jason and JAIC were driving to a farm.
"JAIC, a Viper isn't big enough for a cow, so... 4x4 mode."
"Commencing transformation." JAIC transformed into a Dodge Ram. They arrived at the farm. A farmer sitting by the entrance saw the pickup and immediately stood up, "JAIC! Jason! What can I do for you?" he asked.
"Hey, Joe, we need a cow," Jason answered.
"What d'you need a cow for?"
"Errr..."
"We need a cow for a classified scientific experiment. It may not survive the experiment." replied JAIC.
Joe wasn't surprised by JAIC talking to him, "I see. I think I have just the cow for you." He went to the barn where his cows were kept. JAIC followed him.
"Here he is," Joe indicated an old cow, "I was going to put him out of his misery, but since your experiment might do that for me, you can 'ave him for free."
"Thanks!" Jason said gratefully, getting out of the vehicle. Joe gave the cow some anaesthetic, and he & Jason heaved the cow into the back of JAIC. They covered the cow with a piece of tarpaulin, and Jason got back in the truck.
"I know this experiment for yurs is classified, but d'you think you could tell me the results of the experiment?"
"Hopefully it will reverse the results of a previous experiment." replied Jason.
"OK, Jason, good luck." JAIC drove back to the mansion, and found Suki and Nabujo standing next to some hay.
"How'sss thisss?" asked Suki. Jason rolled down the window.
"I think it's brilliant! What do you think, JAIC?"
"I think it is adequate. Do you think the farmer would have let us have the cow if we told him the real reason why we wanted it?"
"I don't know, JAIC." Jason got out of the truck and took off the tarpaulin, revealing the cow.
"What did you tell the farmer?" asked Suki.
"We told the farmer that we needed it for a scientific experiment, and that the cow may not survive it. We did not mention that it would be attacked by an 80 foot long serpent," answered JAIC.
"Right. Suki and Nabujo, help me get this cow out. JAIC, err, just do something useful."
"As you wish, Jason." JAIC adjusted his suspension so that his rear end was as low as possible.
"Wow, very handy!" Jason, Suki and Nabujo lifted the cow and placed it by the hay.
"Holy cow! That thing is heavy!" commented Suki. Jason and Nabujo both slapped their foreheads.
"Suki, that was a really bad joke," they both said.
"Oh, come on! Surely you can laugh about it! Unlesss the wo... You-know-who isss coming?"
"No, Suki. Right, we have the bait, what else do we need?"
"Time to wait, and a sssafe place for usss!" replied Suki.
"We've got the time, we just need a safe placsse for you, and quickly, becausse I think Cobra may be coming. Errr... Do you have any ideas?"
"Well firssst: I found sssomething that might give you control back over hisss body. Sssecond: We need a sssafe placsse where I can easssily ssstab the sssyringe in Cobra'sss tail."
"Right, so you can't use the bomb shelter again. Errr, right. What we should do is: I stand, or sit here facing the the cow so, hopefully, that will be the first thing he sees. You can hide behind me, and... Ah ha. We can use this heat shield to dull his ability to sense your body heat. This would easier if you weren't warm-blooded, but that can't be helped. And Nabujo, just do something useful."
"Right," the nagas replied. Jason got a heat shield and placed it between himself and Suki. He then got a chair and sat between the shield and the cow.
"Got the syringe?" he asked. Suki filled up a syringe and held it up.
"There, ready! Let the ssslithery bassstard... shit I did it again... let Cobra come!" he said. Jason slapped his forehead, "Suki, Suki, Suki. Right, now we wait. Damn, this is nerve racking."
"Maybe we need to lure Cobra out of his 'shelter'?"
"I'm not sure. Come on, you moron, we've got dinner for you."
"Apparently he can't ressisst the W-word. Hey, come out you filthy worm!"
"Hmm. I don't think he'sss coming. Ah ha. My missstake. Ow, ow, OW! GOD, I HATE THIS PART!" Jason fell off the chair and transformed. Cobra saw the cow.
"HEY, SSSOMEONE'SSS LEFT A COW HERE. HOW CARELESSS." He attacked the cow and embedded his fangs into it.
"YESSS!" Suki jumped up from behind the shield, stabbed Cobra with the syringe and injected the liquid into him. Being thick-skinned, Cobra didn't notice. After a few minutes he began to feel woozy.
"WHAT'SSS HAPPENING TO ME!?" he turned round and saw Suki, "YOU AGAIN!" He tried to attack Suki, but the liquid quickly took hold and he collapsed, fast asleep.
"Wow. That wasss quick. Now we wait and sssee who hasss the more dominant mind."
Hours passed, and still nothing happened to Jason/Cobra.
"OK, nothing'sss happening." Suki was worried.
"Jussst wait a minute," said Nabujo.
"We've been waiting for hoursss. He'sss not going to recover any time sssoon."
Just then, Jason/Cobra woke up. He lifted his head.
"Oh, no. He'sss back," said Suki.
"No! No no no, Sssuki, it'sss me! Jassson!" Jason/Cobra said.
"Jassson? It'sss you? Are you sssure?"
"I'm posssitive."
"Jassson!" Suki hugged him.
"Not again!"
"Isss there anything you can do about your body?" asked Nabujo.
"Let me try." Jason went quiet and stared into the distance. After about 30 seconds he started to shrink. His scales turned to skin, and he eventually became Jason again, "Ahh, that's better. Right, any ideas for Cobra?"
"Errr, we're not exssactly sscientisstss."
"Of course not. OK, err, how about we take this... and this... and... this!" Jason said, picking up seemingly random containers. He mixed them together and... absolutely nothing happened.
"OK. Maybe if I added my DNA to the mix?" He pulled a strand of hair from his head and dropped it into the mixture. Still nothing happened. He wait for a few minutes. STILL nothing happened.
"Jason, I have a mission for you," a voice said on his comlink.
"OK, Dan. I'm on my way," Jason replied. He left with Suki and Nabujo on tow.
If only they waited for another 30 seconds, then they would have seen the liquid start to boil and change into a gel. The gel increased in volume, and rose out of the container. It shape-shifted into the shape of a snake, and grew to 80 feet long. Finally, it changed colour to brown and tan stripes.
"AT LASSST, MY OWN BODY," the snake said, as it slipped out of the lap and slithered down the corridor in the direction of Jason...

"Here, let me help you!" Suki slithered over to Jason and helped him get back up. "Cobra isss getting annoying, and almossst deadly, that filthy w.... I better not say that."
"Thanks. I have no idea what you were gonna say, but for both our sakes I don't want to know." JAIC arrived. "JAIC, Suki's got a plan to distract Cobra. We're gonna sacrifice a cow."
"In other words, you are going to give Cobra the cow as food to distract him." said JAIC.
"Exactly," Jason got into the car, "Let's go," They drove away.
"Sssee ya in a while, Jassson!" Suki waved at JAIC, then went to start setting up a place for the cow.
Meanwhile, Jason and JAIC were driving to a farm.
"JAIC, a Viper isn't big enough for a cow, so... 4x4 mode."
"Commencing transformation." JAIC transformed into a Dodge Ram. They arrived at the farm. A farmer sitting by the entrance saw the pickup and immediately stood up, "JAIC! Jason! What can I do for you?" he asked.
"Hey, Joe, we need a cow," Jason answered.
"What d'you need a cow for?"
"Errr..."
"We need a cow for a classified scientific experiment. It may not survive the experiment." replied JAIC.
Joe wasn't surprised by JAIC talking to him, "I see. I think I have just the cow for you." He went to the barn where his cows were kept. JAIC followed him.
"Here he is," Joe indicated an old cow, "I was going to put him out of his misery, but since your experiment might do that for me, you can 'ave him for free."
"Thanks!" Jason said gratefully, getting out of the vehicle. Joe gave the cow some anaesthetic, and he & Jason heaved the cow into the back of JAIC. They covered the cow with a piece of tarpaulin, and Jason got back in the truck.
"I know this experiment for yurs is classified, but d'you think you could tell me the results of the experiment?"
"Hopefully it will reverse the results of a previous experiment." replied Jason.
"OK, Jason, good luck." JAIC drove back to the mansion, and found Suki and Nabujo standing next to some hay.
"How'sss thisss?" asked Suki. Jason rolled down the window.
"I think it's brilliant! What do you think, JAIC?"
"I think it is adequate. Do you think the farmer would have let us have the cow if we told him the real reason why we wanted it?"
"I don't know, JAIC." Jason got out of the truck and took off the tarpaulin, revealing the cow.
"What did you tell the farmer?" asked Suki.
"We told the farmer that we needed it for a scientific experiment, and that the cow may not survive it. We did not mention that it would be attacked by an 80 foot long serpent," answered JAIC.
"Right. Suki and Nabujo, help me get this cow out. JAIC, err, just do something useful."
"As you wish, Jason." JAIC adjusted his suspension so that his rear end was as low as possible.
"Wow, very handy!" Jason, Suki and Nabujo lifted the cow and placed it by the hay.
"Holy cow! That thing is heavy!" commented Suki. Jason and Nabujo both slapped their foreheads.
"Suki, that was a really bad joke," they both said.
"Oh, come on! Surely you can laugh about it! Unlesss the wo... You-know-who isss coming?"
"No, Suki. Right, we have the bait, what else do we need?"
"Time to wait, and a sssafe place for usss!" replied Suki.
"We've got the time, we just need a safe placsse for you, and quickly, becausse I think Cobra may be coming. Errr... Do you have any ideas?"
"Well firssst: I found sssomething that might give you control back over hisss body. Sssecond: We need a sssafe placsse where I can easssily ssstab the sssyringe in Cobra'sss tail."
"Right, so you can't use the bomb shelter again. Errr, right. What we should do is: I stand, or sit here facing the the cow so, hopefully, that will be the first thing he sees. You can hide behind me, and... Ah ha. We can use this heat shield to dull his ability to sense your body heat. This would easier if you weren't warm-blooded, but that can't be helped. And Nabujo, just do something useful."
"Right," the nagas replied. Jason got a heat shield and placed it between himself and Suki. He then got a chair and sat between the shield and the cow.
"Got the syringe?" he asked. Suki filled up a syringe and held it up.
"There, ready! Let the ssslithery bassstard... shit I did it again... let Cobra come!" he said. Jason slapped his forehead, "Suki, Suki, Suki. Right, now we wait. Damn, this is nerve racking."
"Maybe we need to lure Cobra out of his 'shelter'?"
"I'm not sure. Come on, you moron, we've got dinner for you."
"Apparently he can't ressisst the W-word. Hey, come out you filthy worm!"
"Hmm. I don't think he'sss coming. Ah ha. My missstake. Ow, ow, OW! GOD, I HATE THIS PART!" Jason fell off the chair and transformed. Cobra saw the cow.
"HEY, SSSOMEONE'SSS LEFT A COW HERE. HOW CARELESSS." He attacked the cow and embedded his fangs into it.
"YESSS!" Suki jumped up from behind the shield, stabbed Cobra with the syringe and injected the liquid into him. Being thick-skinned, Cobra didn't notice. After a few minutes he began to feel woozy.
"WHAT'SSS HAPPENING TO ME!?" he turned round and saw Suki, "YOU AGAIN!" He tried to attack Suki, but the liquid quickly took hold and he collapsed, fast asleep.
"Wow. That wasss quick. Now we wait and sssee who hasss the more dominant mind."
Hours passed, and still nothing happened to Jason/Cobra.
"OK, nothing'sss happening." Suki was worried.
"Jussst wait a minute," said Nabujo.
"We've been waiting for hoursss. He'sss not going to recover any time sssoon."
Just then, Jason/Cobra woke up. He lifted his head.
"Oh, no. He'sss back," said Suki.
"No! No no no, Sssuki, it'sss me! Jassson!" Jason/Cobra said.
"Jassson? It'sss you? Are you sssure?"
"I'm posssitive."
"Jassson!" Suki hugged him.
"Not again!"
"Isss there anything you can do about your body?" asked Nabujo.
"Let me try." Jason went quiet and stared into the distance. After about 30 seconds he started to shrink. His scales turned to skin, and he eventually became Jason again, "Ahh, that's better. Right, any ideas for Cobra?"
"Errr, we're not exssactly sscientisstss."
"Of course not. OK, err, how about we take this... and this... and... this!" Jason said, picking up seemingly random containers. He mixed them together and... absolutely nothing happened.
"OK. Maybe if I added my DNA to the mix?" He pulled a strand of hair from his head and dropped it into the mixture. Still nothing happened. He wait for a few minutes. STILL nothing happened.
"Jason, I have a mission for you," a voice said on his comlink.
"OK, Dan. I'm on my way," Jason replied. He left with Suki and Nabujo on tow.
If only they waited for another 30 seconds, then they would have seen the liquid start to boil and change into a gel. The gel increased in volume, and rose out of the container. It shape-shifted into the shape of a snake, and grew to 80 feet long. Finally, it changed colour to brown and tan stripes.
"AT LASSST, MY OWN BODY," the snake said, as it slipped out of the lap and slithered down the corridor in the direction of Jason...
