Description
And the process of this piece! For this sort of thing I guess it shows a bit at the end that I don't do too much working out what I want right from the start, but with these quick sketches I don't really mind so much.
Still, maybe something to work on.
About 3 and a half hours last night, all on one layer, in PS CS4.
Enjoy!
Final is up here -

First paint a few strokes and then paint the rest of the mech. Haha, jk. These are actually very insightful.

So do you use multiple layers? Or paint on just one? Transparent brushes, or just solid colour? it's these things I need to know and that all tutorials/processes seem to miss mentioning!

This really helped me see how you work out your ideas.
Beautiful flow of work.
It must of taken years to get a good feel for your tools where you can belt something like this out in a short time.

Do you just save every half an hour or is there some sort of autosave script you know of. I'm tired of losing work because I forget to save on cs4.
