Essentially, faith in the Emperor and anger, there are many running theories, among them that the Angry Marines were originally formed by loyalist world eaters who got "PISSED the FUCK OFF that those FUCKING FAGOT world eaters and their KING FAGot Angron weren't Angry enough, joining in FUCKING PLANS and shit instead of FUCKING UP anyone who didn't follow the IMMORTAL FUCKING EMPEROR OF MAN FUCKING KIND BELOVED BY ALL NON FAGOTS who is the KING of FUCKING people up."
You see they were the angriest World Eaters who were extra angry cause Angron was supposed to be the Emperors anger but he wasn't angry enough. When he went and "wined like a FUCKING BITCH" to Horus in an effort to beat down the Emperor that was the final straw. They kicked all the shit in reach and ultimately re-named themselves the Angry Marines cause though World Eater sounded angry it wasn't direct enough. In their mind they are Marines, they're Angry, that's all you need to know.
So really the difference is that Kornites don't really crave anger, they crave violence, which is actually very different. The Angry Marines were truly angry and were so angry they saw Chaos with its plans, mutations weapons, gods, powers and stuff then responded "Fuck that shit" and got on with just being angry and killing for the Emperor.

Of course another explanation is that they are in fact the 11th legion and that their primach was in fact intended to represent the Emperor's anger. That line of reasoning basses itself on the fact that while Angron was indeed always very angry, that it wasn't natural anger. You see it's implied that Angron was always so angry due to several metal rods driven into his skull when he was a child by the sadistic rulers of the world he fell on.
If this is true then, since there was supposed to be a primarch for all of the Emperor's major features and his fury is definitely one of them then that would mean that a lost primarch would have to be the one that truly represents the Emperor's anger.
They would be 11 because its suggested that their rivals the pretty marines are in fact Legion 2.
Again, they are separated from Kornites because they love the Emperor and are Angry, where Kornites are Violent, and while anger can cause violence they are two very VERY different things.
Generally they are good for fighting super heresy because they are too angry for anything to corrupt.
