Angela found it increasingly difficult to sit up. Her body was filling with blubber, shredding her small human-sized clothing. Her hands as well as her briefly-acquired fish tail were now sets of chubby flippers. Stiff bristles shot from her upper lip, which was rapidly expanding. Any attempts to speak through her tusk-filled mouth ended only in baritone grunts. Angela did not look forward to slapping her way up the stairs of the archives. She hoped that the nearby lake would be a cool enough reward for her efforts.
