Angela's body continued to crack and stretch, but something felt different. It was as though she welcomed the change, but without it getting the better of her. She calmly held her claws in front of her face and saw that her fingers were becoming more slender. Her body was now covered in grey fur, some of it becoming dark and thick. Some of her long hair now seemed to merge with her coat, sprouting shaggily from her neck and shoulders. What was still growing from the top of her head did so in a swept-back, spiky fashion that showed off her pointed ears. She licked her fangs and quietly made a growl of approval. She thought about letting loose with that howl she was holding back a moment ago, but it seemed silly to do it in the dark basement. She could wait until she got outside. She had all night.
