The glitter in her clothing gave way to a silkier sheen. Her jewelry changed from gold to a brilliant silver, better complimenting her impeccable makeup.

Clutch purse in hand and surging with a new confidence, Angela was ready to strut out of the archives and find some kind of event where she could be seen, preferably somewhere where she would be the center of attention. She just hoped it wasn't too far. As good as her shoes looked, they weren't meant for a hike across Underborough.
