This episode is brought to you byI'm not a kid anymore, Angela accepted. I should be supporting myself, not leeching off Mom. As she thought this, she could feel her hair sliding up her back as it rolled itself into a sizable bun. Her casual clothes shifted once again into an expensive-looking business suit. It seemed almost like something Winifred would wear.
Angela's head began filling with a lot of Latin-sounding words and phrases, only they weren't spells. They were something even more powerful: the power of attorney! Angela briefly wobbled to one side as a briefcase materialized in her hand. Unsure whether or not she had someplace to be, she instinctively checked her watch (which she also didn't have moments ago).
As a witch, Angela was capable of conjuring and transforming things--even herself, apparently. But now she knew she was capable of making real changes in Underborough.

It's a little of both. Part of it is her will to have a career, but the spell seems to determine what that career is.
