Angela released her bicep and sighed. "Looks like this spell was a bust. I'm not any bigger, I'm not any stronger, my feet aren't touching the floor...
"Wait."
Angela looked down and gasped. She was hovering a few inches above the floor! Sure, she had a flying broom, but flying on her own was pretty exciting! (Not to mention useful, as she was always running off to school without it.) The tingling sensation in her muscles returned, this time with more visible results. Her body was growing into that of a very fit teenager.
"This is more like it!" she said, flexing slightly.
Her clothes were changing as well, most notably with the addition of a cape and a big star across her chest. Soon, her outfit became...
(1.) …more star-studded!

Look, if you're going to do dark and "edgy", at least have her be like a Warren Ellis character or Spider-Man. Either way, you're gonna have a body count, snarky humor, and sociopaths involved. And if you're gonna go the Batman route, at least make it bare chested Batman from the 70's. That was fun.

Either way, very good super design, doesn't look too generic, but also looks pretty cool.

It was 90's and Image, but it was made by Jim Lee. Pretty fanservice-y, but it had a good, if X-Men like, story. Also Caitlin Fairchild's up there in my female protagonists, as she got the strength and body of She-Hulk, but the shy and smart mindset of Nancy Drew.
