Here's the redesigned, revamped version of my OC Banger. If you've read the comment that I posted along with her portrait you'll know that I wasn't happy with her previous design, which led to her redux. I must say that this is FAR better than the original design!

As for Banger herself she's a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky gal that's dedicated to making this universe a better place by using her extraordinary abilities to fight crime and evil in all forms. She and Hotspur are allies and good friends, having teamed up on missions in the past. Here's her bio:

Special Powers/Abilities: Banger is a metahuman born with the superhuman ability to absorb kinetic energy within her body and redirect it in various forms; her powers didn't manifest until she turned 19. Her ability increases her physical attributes such as strength, speed, reflexes/reactions, agility, flexibility, dexterity, coordination, balance, and endurance. She can also use the kinetic energy to envelop her body or body parts to use for melee/combat purposes or to act as a force field to absorb mild to moderate levels of impact. Her abilities also enable Banger to sustain flight for extended periods of time and in extreme cases.

Being that her body constantly generates bio-kinetic energy with each movement, many of her abilities are latent and not consciously controlled by Banger. She has learned over the years how to control her powers.

Random Quirks: Shannon is 2nd generation Irish-American. She's also a 3rd degree black belt in Karate. Shannon used to be plus-sized despite exercising regularly and maintaining a very healthy diet. Her extra weight came from her body storing perpetual kinetic energy within her muscles and fatty tissues; she wasn't able to lose weight no matter how disciplined she was with her diet and exercise, but she has recently discovered how to manage the excess energy...thus allowing her body to shed a considerable amount of weight. Whether plus-sized or now in her slimmer form, Shannon has always been very comfortable and confident with her body.
