Background:

Throughout her life, Carly has always been a fighter. Even when she was child she often got into scraps trying to protect kids from bullies. This meant she often got in trouble at school as the bullies were often the sons and daughters of the wealthy elite. Despite this she would not back down from doing what's right. Her father often encouraged this though he tried to steer her towards more non violent methods as he didn’t want Carly to keep getting in trouble. Thanks to his service in the SAS Carly was able to learn many self defense techniques. This was one of the ways the two bonded along with playing video games and watching football. Carly never knew her mother as she died when she was two due to a tragic car crash. Despite this tragedy Carly was able to have a decent life and even grew up to join the military. She wanted to serve her country and protect the people just like her father did. Thanks to her good grades she was able to qualify for Officer school and graduated with high marks. At twenty two she was a lieutenant in her Majesty’s Army. She served for a few years in Afghanistan, leading her platoon in many engagements. While she did struggle with command, she was able to learn to handle the pressure and became a very skilled leader. When she was twenty five, she was recalled back to the U.K for a special assignment. She had been chosen to undertake a top secret procedure to transform soldiers into marvels. Due to her genetic structure it was believed she could handle the treatment. While wary of the project, the thought of gaining these abilities excited her and she saw it as a chance to help her country. Once she underwent the treatment, her body reacted differently compared to the other soldiers. She gained powers that the scientists did not expect such as flight, energy projectiles and a very high strength level. The brass decided to put this on hold as they tried to figure out their next move. At first Carly was kept in the base which left her going stir crazy. Eventually she was allowed to meet up with her father in London while under surveillance. At first things were good as father and daughter were able to reunite and catch up after the procedure. Then when they were having lunch the area was attacked by a group of supervillains known as the Harbingers. Despite her orders to lay low, Carly rushed in to stop theri rampage. After a tough fight that tested Carly’s new abilities, she proved victorious. After the battle she was hailed as a hero by the public. The brass were not happy about this as they wanted to keep this a secret but they were forced to adapt. Carly was able to convince them to allow her to be a public hero as she would be of great help. Eventually they relented and she fully premiered as the U.K’s newest euro, Captain andromeda. For a couple years she protected her country from supervillains and other threats before she was approached by red wolf of the Legion of Champions. He came to offer her a palace on the team as he felt she would be a great addition. She gladly accepted and was able to work out an arrangement where she was able to stay in union city as an ambassador of sorts. She made many friends among the champions, including the hero Commander Valor. Now she helps defend Union CIty against all threats just like she did for ehr country.

Personality:
Carly is a very proud and outgoing person. She does what she can to understand people and to help them. Whenever someone is in danger she will be there to help them. She is quite proud of her powers and looks though it never goes into arrogance. Calrly likes to tease people her friends, especially commander valor. She is also quite outspoken about her opinions and will let you know what she thinks. However she is far from perfect. While she is a patriot, it’s this quality that makes ehr quite sensitive toward criticism of said country. Her loyalty to it may also affect her judgment when politics come around. Calry often clashes with leadership as she often believes that certain tactics aren't great ideas and could be problems. Her pride in her abilities can also lead to her underestimating her opponents and getting beaten by them. She is trying to work on that. Overall despite her flaws, Carly genuinely wants to help people and will do what she can to do the right thing.

Powers and abilities

Super strength : Carly can lift up to 200 tons and do as much damage. For example she can lift a bus with ease.

Durability: Carly is able to take most blows and blasts and keep fighting. However a blast more powerful than her can knock her down.

Energy Projectiles: Carly is able to fire energy blasts from her hands. SHe uses these to Knock out enemies or to destroy machines. She is able to control the strength of these blasts so she doesnt kill anyone.

Flight: Carly is able to fly at speeds reaching mach 5.

Weaknesses: An opponent of equal or stronger power were to fight her, she could be injured or killed. She als has a weakness toward specialized weaponry developed by her government.
