Wow...it's late September and this is the first full solo pic of Adora-1 that I've posted in 2016! I'm just happy that it seems as if my creativity has come back!
I really like how this one came out...my goal was to draw Nikki in a dynamic action pose rather than another static pose. What good is it to have an ultra-powerful badass cyborg chick as your main character when she's not doing anything badass? I still think that while this pose is far more dynamic than what I typically create, she still looks a little stiff, but hey...it's a step in the right direction! I started out doing a "kick my own ass" remake of this but decided that I wanted to make the pose more dynamic and this is what came out!
I've made a few aesthetic changes to Nikki as well...first off her chrome body is now much darker than it has been. Plus, I've changed her hair a bit (I borrowed the style here and jazzed it up a bit) and gave her purple lipstick as opposed to dark red/burgundy that I've been giving her. Just wanted to spice her look up a bit.
Here's to more action poses of the great cyborg crusader, Adora-1!!!!

Oh yeah! This version of Nikki is definitely a strong show of how far your talent has evolved. You nailed all those pesky problems that plague so many of us: A full body pose, hands, feet, and the overall feel. Top that off with a superb inking and coloring job, the details and the speed lines for effect and you have a damn good illustration of cyber-hotness! You knocked it out the box.

Thanks man! I had to doctor the pose a bit digitally, as I cut her off at the calf on her extended leg...I really need to get better about including the full body in my drawings! Even when I rough out the pose, I somehow still manage to miscalculate my proportions.

I feel your pain there, for sure. I rough sketch something full body, look at it and think it looks good - then I start doing my line work in PS and wonder what in the world I was smoking. I have a lot of do-overs with my drawings once i throw them in PS because of the same issue with proportions (usually).
