Jetta’s a very captivating lady….there aren’t too many mega genius punk rocker geek Cyberologists with a larger than life personality out there! Sometimes while I’m being worked on, I’ll watch her as she’s working within her holographic interface console…she obviously loves what she does! She’s often navigating through screen after screen, processing data, designing new tech or improving upon existing constructions, or whatever else she does…and often times she’s got her eclectic tastes of music blaring as she sings and dances along while she works. It’s especially funny to see the interactions between her and her cat, Circuits, as you would think that they could actually effectively communicate back and forth with one another…it’s quite comical!

I’m just happy that Jetta’s okay and was able to remain very much in touch with her humanity, especially after she was abducted and assimilated by Sataria just like I was. Granted, her initial assimilation and cybernetic transformation wasn’t as extensive as mine was, but that coupled with the fact that Sataria nearly killed her once we freed her from the control of the C.O.D.E. I haven’t yet forgiven myself, as I take sole responsibility in Jet’s abduction at the hands of the C.O.D.E. which led to Sataria turning her into one of her data drones. She constantly assures me that it’s not my fault, but I can’t help but think that if it weren’t for me then she would’ve never had been submitted to that torturous assimilation process.

Unlike many others that have been subjected to assimilation at the hands of Sataria and later rescued from her control, Jet has adapted well to her newfound cybernetics and doesn’t see them as a hindrance or a curse at all…in her own words, she actually thinks they’re cool. In fact, she upgraded one of the earlier designs of the Adora technology that was used on my old organic body before my assimilation years ago and implemented it on herself as a tribute to me….she loves the results and actually enjoys being a cyborg! I guess that’s easy for her to think that way since she still has most of her original organic components, plus she didn’t get an ounce of DFA while under Sataria’s influence…I always tell her that she’s fortunate and that she got off relatively easy compared to when I was assimilated! She sees her cybernetics as yet another way of making her more powerful and effective to fight against the evils of the Entity and C.O.D.E…when she goes out in the field, she insists that people call her by her codename ‘Techna the Cyberpunk’! One of her best character traits is that she’s always able to find the silver lining around the dark clouds of life…and there have certainly been many of those clouds in her life over the past several years!

One thing that I notice which I don’t think she’s aware of is that she is perhaps one of our most powerful assets against The Matriarch and the Entity, as well as Sataria and the C.O.D.E…perhaps even more powerful than I am. She’s often quite hard on herself and struggles with low self-esteem at times, but if she could only see what I and many others see in the way of her beauty, strength, and her spirit. Her uncanny intelligence quotient coupled with her newfound cybernetics, her birth-given metahuman abilities as well as her acquired abilities as a technomancer, and her plucky attitude makes her quite formidable. While myself and several of our close allies may have the edge when it comes to physical attributes and sheer brute force, Jetta’s strengths and talents balance themselves out and puts her on par with the rest of us…she’s very deserving of her distinction as a Paragon. Not to mention that she’s been trained by Commander Raina, combat microchips and programming have been implanted and uploaded within her brain, and she has studied film on many of Sapphira’s old matches…with her kinetic-photographic memory powers, the gal knows how to handle herself in a fight!

Everyone loves Jetta…she’s often the life of the party with her quick wit and quirky charm! On a personal level, she is more than just the technician that repairs me or the Cyberologist that’s been helping me to reclaim my lost memory. In my recent recovered memories, I learned that when I was first rescued from the C.O.D.E.’s and reformulated by Cybertech, she was one of the only people that still treated me like a normal person rather than treat me like a war-machine and likewise I would defend her when the other technicians and scientists made fun of her. She redesigned my body with feminine features and talked to me with dignity. She constantly reminds me of how much of a pain in the ass I used to be due to my reckless nature in battle, coming back in need of major repairs! Eventually, we both defected to Daedalus once it was discovered that The Matriarch had gone mad with power and launched her “Agenda”. While I ended up “dying” almost ten years ago to save the world in an attempt to get rid of the C.O.D.E. by throwing myself and Sataria into the Hive reactor core, my main objective on that day was not to destroy the Hive and save the world…but to rescue Jet from Sataria’s control.

And of course, by her recommendation, it was suggested that the blast site of the former Hive to be excavated…where my brain and very few of the rest of my remains were found intact. It was her who constructed this awesome, ultra-powerful body that I now inhabit. She patiently has sat with me in tedious retroactive memory scan therapy sessions as we’ve been doing whatever we can to piece together my shattered past via my fragmented memories. She has encouraged me to not resist the natural human emotions that I feel and constantly reminds me that there is still part of me that is human. Right now we’ve got a deal worked out between us; she is helping me recover my memory and I’m helping her find a boyfriend! She’s my closet friend; more akin to a sister than anything, as she’s the only family that I have…that I currently know of, at least…and has cared for me as such. At times she actually addresses me as ‘Big Sis’ and I to her ‘Little Sister’…and there are some days where we bicker and argue and get on each other’s nerves just like blood sisters; sometimes Jet gets a little too sassy and smart-alecky for her own good! But, I love that kid more than she’ll ever know…I literally owe her my life and would sacrifice myself again to save her life if needed!

Everyone thinks that I’m the proverbial ‘chosen one’…she’s probably the biggest believer in that assessment. However, I have an inexplicable inclination that perhaps she may be just as important as myself if not more important in regards to our battle with both the Entity and the C.O.D.E. I sense that the day is soon coming when we will collide head on with our greatest foes, and that at the end of the battle Dr. Jetta Chambers will forever be known as one of the greatest defenders and champions of the universe.

It's new and improved Jetta...and introducing for the first time, CIRCUITS THE CAT!!!! I've included Circuits in several of my stories, but this is the first time that I've drawn him! Don't really have too much more to say...I've slimmed her up a bit (those hips and thighs tho...), I've made her glasses look more like actual glasses rather than goggles, her eyes are now green, and her entire bodysuit is now a metallic blue. I love Jetta and really need to draw her more frequently!
