So I've been noticing my DA stats, and so far Miss Raina Hunter here is my most faved character in my gallery. So, with that in mind and me one not to let my fans down (the handful of you that I do have!) I've been working on an update version with shading and such. Work has me going like crazy, and all I've done so far is went over her lines.I also have a question for you experienced colorers/inkers out there....I'm not sure of what to do with the black lines on her black hair/clothing articles. What's the best technique to differentiate where her clothing/hair starts and the line begins? And of course I can't do any shadowing on the black textures.....do I highlight it with white or some other light color? What do you think?

Nikki wouldn't mind havin' herself a piece!
I've actually been entertaining the idea of Nikki and Raina squaring off in a superfight for the Triple F Ultimate Champion....Nikki is the seemingly unstoppable undefeated champion of almost 2 years and Raina is the Icon and most dominant and decorated fighter in the 11 year history of the whole Triple F. Both gals are "babyfaces" (Good gals if you're not familiar with pro wrestling lingo) but I think that I could produce some heat between the two to make for a more interesting fight.
If anyone is able to beat Nikki in a one on one fight...it's Miss Hunter here!

Wow, here is a lady, one would love to play with. (Not quite sure though, if that's her buns showing between her legs or, well, the overflowing fleshy part from the front? - Both is equally fine with me!)

Those are supposed to be her buns showing between her legs.....that would be kinda scary if all of that was her cooter spilling out of her bikini bottoms! ....well, scary to me at least! Glad you like!

tone down on the muscle..she looks a little manly...you can make a woman look powerful without layering her in man muscle....as gross as that sounds...keep up the work...

She's actually supposed to be a bit muscular. I wasn't going for the bodybuilder look, but she is (as well as quite a bit of my characters) is supposed to have more definition than the average woman has. I don't know why....for some reason they just come out with a bit of muscle on them and I'm fine with that. I know it's not everyone's bag....but oh well.

For the 'halo' around the linework, you can use the Multiply mode for the linework layer. Most decent graphics programs have this feature. I made a short video clip a little while ago to show hydek how to go about it [link]
For the shading of the black itself, well, I guess adding lighter shades of grey would help give depth and texture. More advanced would be avoid using pure black and white, and use shades of colour using the principle of complementary colours. That'd take a little more to explain but it's something along the lines of this [link]
