As the Description say, this is the machine at it's front view, but without any of the descriptions of the machine placed here.And uhh, before you ask, the reason why the visor is colored blue and everything else white is because.....the machine is white.
The joints should be a little bigger though......and......those three patches of blue at the corner? That was me testing the right blue for the visor.....but.....it looks like a ghostly face. o.o

This is the tripod that has the cage on it, right? Like in the original story.

Not a cage this time. Tis a pod. A more reinforced prison. Originally meant for it's use on Mars instead of catching Humans.

And if I recall the book, the tentacles have a sort of stunning effect which makes it easier for catching humans.

Interesting, though I wouldn't think it'd be needed because let's face it.......what Human is going to be able to outrun a 300-350 Tripod? Even with a horse it'd be strugglesome.

Depends on how far out or in the sea they are. Not sure about running away but like Thunderchild, they might just hold their ground for a bit.

Aye, but at the same time they were lucky to. The reason Thunderchild was able to kill a few Tripods was because the Martians themselves were curious as to what it is and after they discovered it was going to kill them, they struck it down swiftly.

For a start, yus. Their machines would likely bigger, faster and stronger. Reinforced armor with more than one heat ray. Possibly overshields if they can make them and so forth.
