I decided to redraw the Sonic & Knuckles start screen.Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic & Knuckles were my favorite games as a ~6 year old playing on the Sega Genesis. I sucked at them, but they were so much fun. I got them on PC by the time I was 10-13, and I played them a whole lot more. I still sucked though. Oh well.

Not bad. Out of curiosity, did you ever lock-on Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles to play Knuckles In Sonic 2? That is easily the best way to play Sonic 2 in my opinion, though that's mainly due to how much I enjoy playing as Knuckles in 2D Sonic games.

Yes! I owned Sonic 1 and 2, and Sonic & Knuckles as a kid. I loved the double cartridge thing.

The lock-on technology of Sonic & Knuckles was a cool concept that I don't think anyone else has attempted to replicate, although the lock-on technology of Sonic & Knuckles was really just SEGA's way of working around the fact that they had to cut the complete version of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in half due to deadlines, with Knuckles in Sonic 2 being a nice bonus...and yet it took me until I got the Sonic Classic Collection for the DS to finally play Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Knuckles in Sonic 2.

I always thought it would be awesome if some GBA games used that concept. I could see it working for Pokemon, Mario, or Sonic.
