Soooooo part one. Brambleclaw is an older warrior cat when Squirrelflight is born. He is regarded in a book or two as "an older warrior" which really makes me wonder his actual age in comparison to Squirrelkit. At least he waited for her to be an adult, but some of these age gaps really show there's religious people writing the books, religious people certainly love their age gaps from hell and young ladies marrying old men. No fault to you if your relationship has a gap but I think some of the gaps in Warrior Cats are disgusting and we're not even to Pinestar or the others.

Second, I love Squirrelflight but boy does that plot arc LAST. Long Shadows came out in 2008 and Broken Code goes from 2019 to 2021. There's a load of plot points between this but That's a solid thirteen years of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw with occassional mentions of Ashfur. It's a MAJOR PLOT ARC. Ending only recently with Bramblestar retired because he's older than dirt. So this page is a joke about how as soon as Leafpool and Squirrelflight are born, the plot is just GLUED to those two and ready to torture them.
