Description This was a lot funnier in my head, but it came out a bit... dark in the end. Still hilarious as all hell, sort of.

Yes, I myself am a lover of Yandere, and with so many people not admiring them the way they should be, I created this boot camp so that people can learn how to control their Yandere, and realize just what a loving experience they can be.

You don't need a Yandere for your love interest, but I will detail the benefits of having one... and the cons there are, and how to avoid them. I consider myself a scholar of Yanderekology, and obviously since I'm alive to share my studies, this makes me invaluable. Even though I am not presently engaged to a Yandere does not mean my info should be discredited.

I do not recommend sending applications, as this course requires a very guile mindset, and cunning and manipulation skills are required to survive and make the most of your Yandere. However, I won't turn anyone down if they apply, just note that there's a good chance dismemberment is around the corner.

Jack Diehard belongs to . The Marty Stu is a bit of a jerkass in this comic in particular. A shame he's dead. If anyone cares.

And Joey Johnson belongs to . Sucks that our class couldn't help him out with his Yandere problem.

This is why I prefer kuuderes. At the most, they will give you the cold shoulder or be emotionally distant. A tsundere would physically or verbally abuse their love interest and a yandere romance tends to end with someone dead. Other than that, nice comic.

Silly Joey, there's no curing Lily's insanity.
That was a real nice shout out to How to Deal with a Yandere and this comic is just as funny (I have a dark sense of humor).

Okay, am I senile or something? It's been 5 months, where did I make a P4 reference?

I'm serious: I didn't see the nice boat joke coming like that. And I APPLAUD you for doing so

Side note: Is there a camp for writers on how to write Yanderes?

But of course, I welcome your applause. One of the titles I always bestowed upon myself was "Captain of the Nice Boat." This stemmed from my then-obsession with Yandere, as well as my seeming knowledge in understanding their psychology. I mean, back during those days, Kotonoha Katsura was my religion, and very first waifu.

As for a camp on how to write Yandere, I'ver certainly never heard of such a thing. But if you have questions, I can try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Here's a good question: Why are there people who LIKE watching Yandere so much, and how can they be so enjoyable to watch? Case in point: Yuno Gasai

Okay, I read up more on Yuno Gasai, and I feel dishonored as a Yandere expert that I didn't know who she initially was upon you mentioning her. I have disgraced myself....

One of my character is a Yandere based off her, actually. That's what I asked you these questions. She's not very likeable at this moment, soooo...yeah

Indeed, a good question. There's several factors for why someone might find appeal in Yandere. I myself usually exaggerate my fascination with Yandere to play it for laughs, but the actual fascination is still there. Yuno Gasai is a character I'm not familiar with, so some research on my end might be required, but I'll try and explain what I know to the best of my ability.

Some examples may attract appeal in that there might be a perception the victims of Yandere "deserved" their punishment, and see that Yandere as an odd psychotic hero. Take School Days: Some parties think Sekai was appealing for killing Makoto Itou, the almost universally hated protagonist, or think Kotonoha was appealing for killing Sekai, the one who meddled a seemingly perfectly good relationship in the first place. Some people might perceive these acts of cold-blood as being badass somehow. Don't ask me how it works, the people who believe this are there. There's quite an appeal for characters that fandoms perceive as "Crazy Awesome," either because their madness is amusing or a character's madness makes them more effective in-universe or as a character in general.

Another possible reason can involve the appeal to Yandere is that a Yandere's actual "dere" side is usually on a very extreme end of the spectrum, as I listed in this comic in the Pros, being extremely loving and caring to their "chosen one" as I say. If one were to simply think they could keep their Yandere from going psychotic, then you're left with a really dedicated loving person who devotes her whole life to you, and that appeals to some... individuals of questionable morality, if they realistically expected this in real life. Of course in Anime Land, as some hopefuls dream about, the idealism of such devoted wife is appealing. In fact, most of the horrors of such behaviors a Yandere would exhibit aren't looked upon as horrible because we're thinking within contexts of fiction.

Some appeal comes from the fact a lot of Yandere go through a lot of lows in their life and so many breaking points (which inevitably leads to their psychotic tendencies) that people look at these characters as highly sympathetic, and want nothing short of giving them a big hug, feeling like if they did that before their descent into madness, they'd prevent the girls from becoming psychotic Yandere in the first place. This for me was my first appeal to Yandere, being completely obsessed with Kotonoha Katsura after playing the School Days visual novel. Other appeal concerning the sympathy route tends to follow a logic along the lines of since the world caused so much pain to the Yandere, whatever pain she inflicts on everyone else is "deserved." From what I've read, Yuno Gasai's parents were incredibly strict and she murdered them to escape their harsh parenting methods. Some people might think the victims deserved the Yandere's punishment.

Okay, so I basically went on an incredibly detailed rant. I know this is likely unexpected, but as Captain of the Nice Boat, and knowing you had a meaningful question that you seem interested in having answered, I did my best to explain things. I hope this helped, and if you have something else, I'll do my best to explain once again.
