i have no idea.. maybe they need to duck to hide from the enemy's gaze

that makes sense but the risk to lose the balance is high

i dont know something feels off about it honestly.
but anyway i think they rely on that risk to run at a fixed speed without being distracted when an enemy attacks. like letting your subconscious muscle memory take control so that when they get distracted they're subconscious does not and keeps moving at a fixed momentum.
