See i think the ending is better because its a more interestingly corriographed fight. Close range is so much more interesting than all this flying around stuff that everyone seems to be doing these days. And it can be just as fancy and unrealistic. There's definately more agression at the end than all the running about at the beginning.
Dont get me wrong though its all very well animated. You have a really good sense of movement and weight, which is something that I just notice people find the hardest to achieve, so well done!

Saame. In the beginning I tried out the generic dbz opener to give me some inspiration. Then I saw simply business by terkoiz and thought I had to add some close combat. I want to get to animating fights for the martial arts type (jackie chan, jet lee, BRUCE LEE). Thanks alot

I know right but dbz does take me back lol. Maybe the perfect balance would be good (of course I need to practice both first)

haha tha's fking beautiful.
one thing though, is make your characters less rigid. the fluidity of the animation is really top notch but the figures themselves don't seem to lean into their actions if you know what i mean.

yea. I was planning to add a character on top which I thought was pretty consistent plus the ending I got sooo lazy lol. Just wanted the action. Thanks for the comment and advice, i appreciate it

there are a lot of things to keep in mind working in fullbody when you've started in sticks- the biggest problem is that real bodies bend in more complex ways- the ribcage makes the top half pretty rigid, they only really twist or flex in the trunk- the abs.
this is pretty cash though, i'm digging it.

I didnt do stick figures. I did the most basic form I use when drawing. Because I knew I wouldnt have the patience to put the amount of detail that I put in yoshi, there was no reason to give them the same structure.

oh ok. Are you talking about when the blue figure first attacks and then the last frame?

wait what. no, i mean, you've made stick animations in the past. so you certain ideas about posture etc. that work as sticks but not as fullbody.
