Very nice take on the Skulltaker, I never liked the original model, but THIS I like!

Cheers. Yeah the original model always struck me as looking slightly overweight.

Very nice paint job. The Juggernaut is one of my favourite warhammer beast. What figurine did you use to represent your skulltaker? Forgeworld figurine, or other? Did you sculpt it?

MrBeardyMan In reply to L-Arty-ste [2010-05-07 06:50:43 +0000 UTC]

Thanks a lot. The figure is a daemon special character GW released a few years ago called Belakor, sadly no longer supported. The only sculpting I did was his cloak, which replaced Belakors wings.

ok. I remember this figurine now. Nowaday, it is a collector figurine, isn't it? Very good work. Awesome.

Yeah you can still get it through mail order. Makes a great daemon prince.

a nice conversion, though something seems odd about the proportions between the two models. Not that theres much you can do about that.

MrBeardyMan In reply to chaotea [2010-05-06 14:24:58 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. Yeah the jugger is a wee bit small for Belakor. The photos do seem to exaggerate it though, especially the second one. I usually have him mixed in with a unit of Bloodletters and the jugger disappears in the sea of red and black.
