We're actually doing a Resident Evil 5 group at a convention this weekend.
I'll probably have some much better pictures up, since this, even as our S.T.A.R.S. costumes are concerned, is really outdated.

I'm in the process of throwing a Midnight Wesker(Resident Evil 5) costume together to go with my friend's Chris Redfield costume. That'll be done within the month, so I'll likely pop some more, and different, Resident Evil piccage up on here at that point.

ive never cosplayed before, and i dunno about things, but ive always thought if you had the right hair, you could always just pull it back with gel - and maybe dye it if you want to go that far, but im sure many prefer just wearing a wig o-o

Since both costumes have different hair lengths, colors, and styles, I wouldn't want to have to make some sort of meeting point between them, so this works.

Our Barry's different. Erik, the guy in the picture we're commenting on, kinda fell out with cosplay and we couldn't get him to come back as Barry, so we drafted our friend Dale, who has the same build as Erik, to fill the role. He does it fairly well.

This coming ACen(May), we'll be doing a Resident Evil 5 group, so I'll be leaving the tactical police gear for a more Matrix-y style trenchcoat and leather outfit, while Nick's going to opt for the ol' Chia-Pet-on-a-refrigerator of a Chris Redfield. Dale's...still going to be Barry, since he's available in Mercenaries Reunion in the game.
All in all, when it gets finished and we get a good shot of it all, I'll dump it on here.

Well, hey, thanks for the add.
I'm glad you like my S.T.A.R.S. Wesker, even if I cut a LOT of corners with the costume. The pants aren't BDU pants, and neither is the shirt, the vest is all wrong, there're no duty suspenders with the dual mag pouch, frag pouch, and the radio's completely wrong...
But I suppose cosplay's more than just having the most accurate stuff. I mean, the average person isn't going to have each character they like committed completely to memory. Heck, most of the time, some idiot in camouflage with a headband, gloves with the fingers cut off, and a box can convince people he's a pretty good Snake.
That being said, though, it's not going to stop me from pulling out the ol' reference pictures, buckling down, and analyzing every piece of his gear to get it as close to the in-game model as possible.
