the village where i grew up.I tried to depict as many landmarks as i could while still staying somewhat true to the actual topography.

in the early stages of this drawing i tried to draw realistic foliage. It looked really muddled up and confused the whole composition :/
this style is really more of a crutch than anything else; the artwork looks so much cleaner and easier on the eye this way
