I was several times on the verge to abandon this artwork while drawing it, but seeing it finished i am very glad i didn`t.yep.

I like the flat shading of the hands. It gives it an abstract feel.
Plus the circumstances and the fish's expression so accurately explain that feeling of desperation when we can't control life's circumstances.

This is a really cool image! I love the geometric rendering of the shading--really gives the hands (which have amazingly realistic anatomy by the way) a lot of depth. The water is particularly well done too, and I just all around love the composition. Fantastic work!
