Description UPDATE: Hey transfans! Do you like my Transformer humor, but can’t understand why I taint the rest of my gallery with filthy hyooman characters? I’ve opened up a NEW gallery that’s one-hundred percent robot rousings. Transformer jokes will still be uploaded to this gallery as well, so if you like my general jokes then there’s no reason to watch the other site. So if you’d like to follow along Optimus and gang thru transfunny misadventures, head on over to Cappitron!

Cappy’s (Not So) Random Rant
====================
As much of a fantard of the Transformers that I am (I have the ridiculous toy collection to prove it), I feel really bad reading interviews with the G1 voice cast. Keep in mind, the cast members like Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are super grateful at the fame and following they have now. But back in the 80s, it was just a dorky job for a twenty-one minute commercial for toys. The interviews are done by rabid fans, thinking that the voice actors had a twinkle in their eye at the microphone—“This thing will surely bring joy to millions of kids, even though it’ll be cancelled by the fourth season!”

I read an interview with Frank Welker, being absolutely accommodating with “You are worthy enough to ask Megatron a question!” (By the by, why don’t people upload soundbytes when they interview voice actors?! It does jack to read text about “Welker did this awesome impression of Megatron reading Shakespeare…but I guess you had to be there to enjoy it tee hee!” ) Shortly, the interviewer degenerated into fandardism and asked bonkers questions like “Toys are made partly as an homage to the voice actor who breathed life into the character. That toy: the Masterpiece MP-05 Megatron (a toy that goes for ninety effing dollars online), how do you feel about the didactic relationship your voice had on reshaping the toy?” and “In what episodes do you feel that Megatron mirrored your own life? If Megatron were in the third season, how would he have handled episode thirty-eight?” Blindsided Welker spent most of the interview apologizing because he couldn’t remember most of the episodes and tried to refrain himself from blurting “You do realize it’s just a fun kids cartoon right? Megatron tried to blow up the world when he was still ON it! Do you really find any joy from analyzing every frame and not taking it at face value?”

Well, maybe I paraphrased a little. But it was just a job to the actors, they’ve since jumped on the bandwagon and love the series; it would be nice if fans kept that in mind and ask them appropriate questions.
HOW WOULD OPTIMUS PRIME HANDLE THE WAR IN IRAQ?!?!

Cappy’s Rockin’ Rendition
====================
Truth be told, I never liked cartoon Bumblebee. I’m sure if you’re a fan you can find the humor in my joke—heck, maybe Fumblebee WAS the reason you liked the character. I was always annoyed when I saw Bumblebee and Spike together, because I knew in five minutes Bumblebee would do something retarded and get both of them captured.
“HEY LEMME GO SNEAK UP AND PUT A TRACKER BEACON ON MEGATRON’S FOREHEAD OH NO HE SAW ME?!”
I was able to recall three instances in my doodle, but I’m sure there were A LOT more bumbling misadventures.

Oddly, I adored Bumblebee in the live action movie… probably because he didn’t talk. And I’m looking forward to the Transformers Animated series, even though they showed Bumblebee being even more of a Retardicon; so we’re guaranteed to have a few “maturity” episodes with Prime lecturing “It’s not about the first strike, it’s about planning ahead and thinking of others! See how well such tactics have TOTALLY helped the Autobots in destroying the Decepticon’s rape of the universe, blah blah…”. Oh well, lemme take off my nerd beard now and just be glad the Transformers license finally returns to American scriptwriters.

About the art. I am surprised, and a little disheartened, that this is definitely the best looking of my fanarts. Oh, and when scouring Youtube for clips to reference Bumblebee, I saw a preview frame that helped me to remember that Bumblebee’s cheek had a communicator in it during one episode. I eventually found the G.I. Joe-esque PSA the Transformers tried to pull off:
Boy: I’m gonna run away! My parents are so mean!
BB: Sure, running away will show them how mean YOU are!
Boy: But…my dad tried to molest me.
BB: Well, have you thought about looking less sexy? You obviously want it by the way you dress!

Speaking of, here’s a clip of the PSAs. [link] It’s on the Portal Of Evil site (or POE for short). They pretty much surf Youtube and find the most insane content they can find and then lambast it. Think of Youtube but with jaded comedians leaving the comments. Man I love it. Watch the video first and THEN read the comments below. I can never refer to Sea Spray as anything other than ‘Boat Faggot’ now. I love the Boat Faggot toy from my childhood!

Yes Bumblebee, you have always sucked.

I'm aware this isn't an intelligent response, but I figured I might as well answer the question.

I just used to think he was cute becuse he was a pretty yellow and like a bee-car-robot. Everytime I see a yellow car to this day I think of Bumblebee.

Personally, I did not find Bumblebee pathetic at all. If anything, there were times when he really impressed me in what he was able to do despite his limitations. Spike is the one who made me sick to my stomach for being a glory hogging, spotlight stealing moron who got in the way all the time and wound up with a job which was not fit for him. Down with Spike!

Its not just a helmet, its a bright yellow helmet...

With matching boots.

That half the humans wear. Maybe we should just get ourselves a nice special ed planet and leave Earth to Megatron. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who got annoyed with Fumble and Spike, my most hated moment was when they did all the spying and were good, and were about to leave and Bumble went straight to the edge and basically went: "YOOOHOOO OVA HEREEEE! Oh noes! They spotted us!" then promptly fell down the cliff while trying to drive the other way. Yes. Talk about competant.

And those PSAs, I could kill you, I was two inchs away from suffocating in laughter. Why didn't my old Corvette change into a giant robot when I had to jimmy the window to get my keys out? Maybe cause I called AAA. Uptight harvard sounding Stingrays must not dig AAA and using a necklace and a coat hanger to get the keys from off of the driver's seat.

Gosh your comments crack me up. It just wouldn't be the Transformers we all know and love without it's 5 member cast playing 30+ characters. Plus Ken Sansom. ("Hi, I'm Hound. This is my line for this episode. Gimmie my paycheck")

And this picture was awesome. I've noticed Spike DOES often wear his helmet while he's not at work. (Which he only goes to work the first episode. Was he fired after that or what?) It starts to make you suspect it's not a work helmet.

just to destroy your soul a bit. Cartoon network made an animated version of transformers and it looks like the teen titans artist did it.
