Description Hey transfans! Do you like my Transformer humor, but can’t understand why I taint the rest of my gallery with filthy hyooman characters? I’ve opened up a gallery that’s one-hundred percent robot rousings. Transformer jokes will still be uploaded to this gallery as well, so if you like my general jokes then there’s no reason to watch the other site. So if you’d like to follow along Optimus and gang thru transfunny misadventures, head on over to Cappitron!

Do you like Transformer fanart? Well, of course you do. Back in the 80’s, every cartoon was apparently busted for possession and had to do community service via airing public service announcements at the end of the program.
If your house is on fire stay low to the ground!
If a stranger asks you to help find his lost puppy he probably wants to molest you!
Contact your local authorities if you suspect your neighbors of communist activity!
It was a very groan-worthy era of broadcasting.

The original Transformers were no different, and by the second season they regularly ran the kind of advice you’d expect from alien machines who have no understanding of earth culture. This would be the part where I’d link a Youtube video showcasing the Transformer PSA’s, however, in good lawyer logic they’ve removed the content because free publicity who needs that?

But the spokesbot was of course an Autobot. I’ve commented in the past that Decepticons are by far the most popular faction, however Hasbro’s merch caters heavily to promoting Autobots and goodness or something. You get lunchboxes, shirts, rectal thermometers, mostly donned with the red robo-kitty logo and not the purple robo-bird logo.
That’s robo-diculous.
And I don’t support the argument that there is Decepticon swag when you need to know a secret handshake and throw down almost 40 bucks for a crap quality shirt at Hot Topic.

What was I talking about?
Oh yeah, the Transformer PSA’s. If you’ll recall, the PSA’s ended with the odd choice of using the G.I. Joe cartoon’s tagline of “knowing is half the battle”. Gimme a second… “transform your life with the right choice” and “roll out and enjoy life”. There, in all of 27 seconds I came up with taglines that linked with the actual show. Anyhoo, I thought about what kind of advice you would get from a Decepticon, and the result is illustrated thusly with everybody’s favorite flamboyant backstabber.

Off on an art tangent: I decided to purchase bristol paper since that’s what I originally used when I got into this art gig all these eons ago. Good lord, it’s like meeting up with an old friend. I have been using crummy drawing paper which apparently is an ink vampire and kills your marker supplies quickly. I’m happy drawing the art and you’re happy looking at the art.
…And I’ve run out of things to talk about so fave the picture already!

Yay you live! This is great! I've always wanted to see a screamer-related PSA!
But no, we had to settle for Powerglide and Seaspray in the originals...

In Starscream's defense, he didn't actually tell the kid to put the fork in the socket. It's great to see some TF art from you. Love the fifth panel.

"And knowing is half the battle." And an arm apparently.

I have a group of five yer olds that would disagree about the whole Decepticon thing. But Transformers isn't really for kids anymore so my argument can be simply overruled with "they're young they will learn.

Why is it that I can hear Megatron say "I may be an evil tryannical robot bent on galactic domination at the cost of your puny species, but even I look both ways before crossing the street!

And why is it I see myself drawing your suggestion and giving you credit for the idea?

Ahhhh, apathy and empathy, my two rhyming nemeses. We meet again.

It's great to see you hauling out the bristol paper to bring us these classic Transformer quickies again, Cappy! I love 'em dearly. Mostly because I'm biased toward them, because they clued me in on your art. But also because I enjoy your quirky perspective on the Transformers brand.

Ah yes, that fateful night. It was a romantic Autumn evening, and you were probably looking up robot crossover fanfics. You almost dropped your snifter of cranberry schnapps upon stumbling across my art. Since then, we’ve enjoyed a whirlwind relationship full of robots, kid detectives, and general lunacy.
