CC/CIC-0179-2991, also known as Knightfang, was a Clone Commander within the Grand Army of the Republic and Clone Intelligence Commando within Republic Intelligence. He serves as the overall Divisional Commander of the Black Operations Division of the 801st Intelligence Corps.

Knightfang was born and trained on Kamino in 32 BBY, he was selected into the Experimental Intelligence Commando program after recieveing significant amount of praise from his instructor, and with this, it led to Knightfangs instatement into the Clone Commander program, and later his Advanced Recon Commando training. He would later be assigned to the 801st, and serve as the Divisional Commander of the Black Operations Division of the 801st. Due to the corps operational behavior and the training he recieved while in the IC program, he developed an extremely frightening and sadistically disturbing cold personality, which has the same aura as his brother, Knighthawk who commands the Clandestine Division within the corps. Knightfang served alongside his commanding officer Flintlock on the field and behind CIS-controlled space, though most of his operations were authorized and sanctioned by Republic High Command back on Coruscant. In mid-19 BBY, Knightfang assassinated Senator Lott Dod of the Trade Federation, and in late-19 BBY, assassinted Executive and Senator Nix Card of the InterGalactic Banking Clan on Coruscant, which both assassination operations were authorized and sanctioned by Republic HIGHCOM. In the waning hours of 19 BBY, Knightfang sabotaged a shield generator site on Scipio, to prepare for the eventual Republic Assault on the planet. As of 17 BBY, Knighthawk continues to conduct black operations in Republic and CIS-controlled space alongside the 801st.
