Wait!!! I saw a thing like that when I was 4! It was a living shadow shaped like muscular man(or maybe it was shaped like gorrila?) with red glowing eyes. It moved slowly speaking his name (Baba) again and again. It happened only once but I never forgot how terrified I was.

Baba is a boogeyman in my country ( Poland). It's basicly a Baba Yaga's cousin. My parents scared me with it, but never told me how it looked so I guess it took the form that scared me the most...that of living darkness. In my comment I forgot to mention that it covered the wall behind it's darkness.

The monster in the closet looks like a creepy love child of the shadows from Tim Burton movies(like Oogie Boogie) and Father(from Codename kids next door). I'm still brainstorming for the contest, but this is great.
