Did you also read Watchmen? A more or less similar squiddy thing appears in Time Square at the end.
I like how the squid and the robot are both very shiny and detailed and the rest isn't. The background almost looks like an oil painting, nice brushwork
I agree with ~shinobi27 that it does seem like some of the passersby are just kind of standing there while flaming cars fly by their heads
I absolutely love all the detail that went into this, both in the background and the foreground. The robot design is awesome and I like his laser.
