*Decided to delete the five separate deviations and reupload them stitched together and make one big character library to declutter my gallery.*

Inspired by tim-mcburnie 's simplification exercises in his fantasy characters series, I wanted to try my hand at making simple character designs quickly. Started off using some of his characters as a basis in the beginning, evident in some of the characters on the top left area. The rest were a mix of using references and what I know, as well as using the good ol' mirror.

I learned quite a bit with these exercises, even if I didn't quite meet the goal of doing them as quickly as I would've wanted. The whole process of simplification is still something I've yet to fully grasp across the board, as I still have to get rid of the habit of being so exact with all the small things when it really has little to no bearing on the piece as a whole in the end, or at least spending so much time poring over it is, well, a waste of time!

Still, it was a fun process and something different from the usual.
