Description
This is just for fun. I wanted to emulate old sci-fi fantasy book covers like this: [link]or this: [link]
And i had a few other fake titles and fake authors, here's the shortlist:
Curse of the Spice Diamond by Lesley Fieldwine
Tremors of Bountiful Possibility by George Freecock
Harsh Space by Lee Postwater
Torticus: Romance in Blarkdoor by Heronymous Truth
i literally came up with a page full of this shit

You've got ME doing it now!
I was trying to decide which background character I liked more, but was torn between moustache-guy (he's just so manly!) and the diamond-headed one (who looks like he's from Kinnikkuman/M.U.S.C.L.E.)

Oh man it totally reminds me of MST3K. This is the greatest cover in the world! But it brings up so many questions. "Why's" and "how's" mostly. But that shit isn't even important. I'm just basking in the awesome.
And I second that person below me - I like the way you draw bears. He is goddamn adorable. :'D

Great piece, full of details and super colour. And I would pay for a book that was full only of titles like 'Torticus: Romance in Blarkdoor by Heronymous Truth'.

This is brilliant. I love that this is just full of characters you made solely for this picture.
And the cover for "The World Swappers" is a laugh.

ahaha i love making up fake names and title, though generally my favorite is to make fake album titles and band names. you should check out some old pulp sci-fi and fantasy book covers though, i found them pretty inspiring for a project i've been working on on/off.

Haha, captured the feel brilliantly.
Love the alternate titles, too - you could do a whole series of faux book covers.
