Description
Darth Vader of the UK Garrison of the 501st Legion.At the International Space Center in Leicester during the 22nd and 23rd of September.
I hope I put this in the right category. I didnβt think this would fit in the Photojournalism category.

Belive it or not, This is me in the Costume as Vader. I'm a Member of the UK Garrsion. I just stumbled across this on Deviant Art. Glad tyou like the Costume guys, We do a lot of charity work most weekends and raise a packet! All for a good cause.

Considering that most of the costumes were on the Imperial side there wasnβt too many good guys around. Lol.
I just wish I had realized that the guy dressed up as Silent Bob (Clerks and some other films) was really Kevin Smith when I first saw him. I only got a few pictures of him and not very good ones.

Lol! I walked right by him thinking it was just someone dressed up as Silent Bob that I didnβt turn around and stare at him and ask βare you Kevin Smith?β It was only later that I saw him in a restricted area posing like Silent Bob that it hit me that it was himβ¦

I would guess that he is the same height as the actor who played him in the original trilogy, Dave Prowse at 6 ft 7 in (201 cm).

They will continue until they capture those Rebel troublemakers! 
It was a blast seeing them and interacting with the people. The Stormtroopers would randomly stop people and βinterrogateβ them be it an adult or kid. If there was a family member or friend with a camera the would have the prisoner on his knees with his hands on his head and the troopers would have their guns aimed at him.

This was during the last day when the Space Center was closing and the people in costumes were doing a parade through the museum to end outside where they all gathered (most of them anyways) for a final photo shoot with everyone. It was also the only time I saw that Imperial Guard guy during both days. Oh, just like Boba he is a little big around the belly.
