Hey! So in Armando's reference sheet I made a (poorly) scars reference so you get an idea where they are, but recently I felt like doing a "more proper" scars reference sheet, so here it is!
I made both frontal and back shots so you can see how his scars look like in both sides. (The back shot looks a bit odd to me tho, but I think I did good, better than the last time anyways. XD)

Those scars also have stories, so here are the summed up versions of 'em:

* Scar on his face: "The most notorious and the one that he hid for the most time. Got it as a kid while defending himself against some bullies at his school, who wanted to cut his school uniform with a fabric knife, and during the struggle, one of the bullies accidently slashed his face with the knife."

* Scars on his right side of the hip and right foot: "He got those scars at some point during his early journeys as a Pokemon Trainer. He was hiking on a rocky mountain but he gave a wrong step and fell off from a significant height, which made some sharp rocks be incrusted on his hip and foot. Fortunately the rocks didn't embed themselves too deep, but it did leave him with those scars...and a fear of heights."

* Scars on his shoulder: "Got them when he was attack by his own Torracat. Turns out, it's not a good idea trying to calm down an angry Torracat by petting it when the Torracat is on a bad mood due to its near evolution. They're the most recent scars on him (since it's been barely 2 years since he got 'em) and they've already healed."

There's one last thing: "Since Armando got that scar on his face, he kept it hidden for several years with the help of a bandage, since he thought that everyone would think he was an intimidating person. Besides, it's a permanent memory that there are bad people in this world. Later when he got his scars on his hip and foot, they were a little easier to hide since they're in places where clothes can cover them, and when he had to swim, he would pull his trunks up as high as possible to hide his scar on his hip and wore special swimming shoes to hide the scar on his foot.
It was only in Alola where he was able to gain some confidence to show his scars to the public. Also, he was somewhat inspired by his friend Reyes, who also had a very noticeable scar on his face and yet it didn't seem to affect him at all. So after gaining enough confidence, he was able to show his scars to the world and realize that scars are actually marks of how strong people are and how they learn to live with them without affecting their lives."

(Oh, and yes, I could've drawn him naked for "better reference", but I thought just drawing him in his underwear was good enough. XD)
