How do you make gifs like this? Whenever I've tried to make something and resize it to dA's 50x50 requirement the quality always goes down to the point you can't see what's happening in the gif anymore. : ?

I'm too sure I should explain this. If it helps, I use GIMP to make all of my gifs. The first thing I do is crop the original image/gif/video so that it's a square. After that I just resize it so that it's 50x50. Obviously it will look really pixelated if you're zoomed in a lot, but it should look just fine as a small chat icon. I hope this helps.
